"With a solid track record of over two decades in European dance companies, this actor and dancer has been twice nominated for Best Male Dancer at the Butaca Awards. He is currently redirecting his professional career toward the film industry."

Music & theater: First moments on stage.

From a young age, music and theater were part of his artistic training. He studied piano and music theory at the Casino Menestral in Figueres and joined the amateur theater group Zanni Teatro, directed by Richard Elelman. In high school, Rober was already a natural performer, experimenting with characters and situations that sparked his love for performing arts. He was a child full of words; His uncle called him “machine gun” because he wouldn't stop talking, always looking for a friend willing to share his ideas and dreams.

An unexpected leap: Dance.

At the age of 18, Rober moved to Barcelona to study acting at Nancy Tuñón. There, in the city's vibrant arts scene, something unexpected happened: she discovered dance. Although most dancers start as children, Rober was not intimidated by his age. He entered the Barcelona Conservatory of Dance and, shortly after, received a scholarship at the Rudra Béjart Lausanne. What for others would have been an impossible path, for Rober was a challenge full of hope.

Rober Gómez: An Artist in Constant Evolution

I have had the pleasure of being part of film projects such as Carlos Marqués-Marcet’s musical tragicomedy Polvo serán, where I was part of the dance cast; or in short films by Pablo Maestres like Plora Aquí and Permanent Life by Greta Griniūtė. And recently in Oriol Cardús’ movie Una bala, una pistola y un oso panda, set to premiere in 2026.
